A little background

I am a photographer, visual artist, designer writer, cartographer, urban planner, producer, and musician based out of New York State’s Hudson Valley Region.

As a photographer, I generally work with 35mm and medium format film, while occasionally dabbling in digital. While much of my work captures places and people from every day life, I occasionally work in a studio setting. I am currently writing and shooting photo essay for the Spring 2022 issue of The Urban Review, a journal published by the Hunter College Department of Urban Planning and Policy.

As a visual artist, I work within a variety of mediums, primarily printmaking and painting. I also do work professional and personal graphic design work, oftentimes experimenting with novel visual data processing techniques. These digital processes involve the combination of traditional digital image processing with geospatial or code-based manipulations.

I am also a musician who has released work as a solo artist and in bands. Most recently, my band Soft Cough released a four-song EP titled “Crimson Guttation.”
